KINABATANGAN: The driver of a 10-tonne lorry laden with oil palm was seriously injured after he rammed into another 10-tonne lorry from behind in front of the Santa Restaurant at Kampung Segaliud, Kota Kinabatangan.
The driver of the second lorry which was not carrying anything escaped unhurt.
The Operations Centre of the Fire and Rescue Department received a call at 7.09pm and a team of five personnel was immediately dispatched to the scene some 21km away.
The 59-year-old driver who was pinned in his seat was rescued by firemen 1and sent by ambulance to the Kinabatangan hospital.
