The May 2025 edition of #LSADrinks continues to take a look at the most exciting events and launches happening in Malaysia and beyond. Heineken to bring its REFRESHING SESSIONS to QRA and Eslite Spectrum
Following the first ever Refreshing Sessions at Good Juju Barbell Club, Heineken is set to keep the party going! REFRESHING SESSIONS will be held at QRA (Arcoris branch) on 21 May (5.00PM to 10.00PM) — featuring DJs Sunrae, Yin and Axel Groove. On 28 May (5.00PM to 10.00PM), Heineken will host its REFRESHING SESSIONS at Eslite Spectrum with performances by DJs Mister Rodrigo, Shawn Zod and Viene. Oh Chong Hau takes top prize in Hennessy MyWay 2025 Malaysia finals
At the KLCW 2025 Festival Village in Sentul Depot, Hennessy hosted the Hennessy MyWay 2025 Malaysia finals — featuring six mixologists from Malaysia. The bartenders who showcased their creative cocktails on stage were Camen Chung of Cabinet 8 KL, Ivon Soon of Frank’s Bar, Oh Chong Hau of The Nest Cocktail Bar, Rendey Ray of Rhu Bar, John Lim of The Riff District and Justin Yow of Good Friends Club.
The crowd and the panel of judges (comprising Julien Pepin Lehalleur, Laura Drozdowski Lot, Chong Wai Keng, Katelyn Tan, Peter Chua and Rachel Tann) watched on as the mixologists crafted their respective drinks on stage — creating cocktails based on the theme of sustainability. Ultimately, it was The Nest Cocktail Bar’s Oh Chong Hau who won the top prize with his creation: ‘The Golden Fondue’. The cocktail was concocted using Hennessy V.S.O.P and consists of pandan leaf, gula kabung and apple juice. Served alongside a crispy duck skin, ‘The Golden Fondue’ comes topped with pumpkin cheese foam. Earning himself the Malaysia Champion title, Oh Chong Hau will head to Cognac, France later this year as he represents Malaysia at the Global Finals.

Jameson Distilled Sounds event to be held at The Zhongshan Building
Jameson Distilled Sounds is set to be held at The Zhongshan Building on 17 May — as Jameson takes over alongside 18 artists. Happening from 6.00PM, the event will feature performances at various locations throughout the building such as The Courtyard, Kantata and Triptyk. Acts who will be taking the stages include the likes of CLAUDIA, TALITHA., Saint Kylo, NOTEP, Daaliah, Vanns Ngo and Twilight Actiongirl (TAG) among others. At the occasion, Jameson will also be showcasing the limited edition Jameson x Anderson .Paak bottle. Additionally, there will also be a complimentary Jameson Ginger Ale & Lime for the first 200 guests to arrive before 8.00PM.
