The son of former Spain goalkeeper Santiago Canizares has penned a new deal with Real Madrid.
Lucas Caizares has signed a new long-term contract with Real Madrid.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper announced via Twitter that he has extended his deal, which was to expire at the end of the season.
Caizares, son of the Spanish goalkeeping legend Santiago Caizares (53), comes from the Real youth team and is currently playing for Castilla.
Caizares has not yet played for the first team, but is regularly involved in matchday squads.
He said, "Very happy to expand my relationship with Real Madrid. Eager to repay the trust placed with work. Let's go!"
