Lucky Saint recalls low-alcohol beer over ‘exploding can’ fears

  • Low-alcohol brewer Lucky Saint has recalled its 0.5 per cent Hazy IPA over concerns that the cans could unexpectedly swell, leak or explode.
  • The Food Standards Agency issued a warning stating that over-pressurised cans present a risk of physical injury to consumers.
  • The recall affects Lucky Saint 0.5 per cent Hazy IPA four-packs of 330ml cans with a best before date of 13 August 2027.
