Over 150 participants in 39 teams attended a five-day training camp at the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College here.

The camp, christened IDE Bootcamp, was supported by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), SBI Foundation and Wadhwani Foundation. A total of 49 teams had initially registered for the camp.

University officials said it was the third edition of the boot camp series, with over 10,000 students trained in the earlier camps.

According to them, a target to train 6,000 students had been set for the current edition.

Participants were on-boarded on the Wadhwani Foundation portal and trained in various domains. They attended a startup founders’ panel discussion and visited Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Park.
