Former Liverpool star Luis Suarez has sent a message to Uruguay teammate Darwin Nunez after his move to Anfield.
Nunez became the club's record signing this week when Liverpool agreed a transfer with Benfica worth £85m.
The 22-year-old posted a picture on social media of him with Mate, the famous Uruguayan tea, saying: "Always Uruguayan."
Suarez replied on the photo, stating: "I was the first one too! But I hope you come first in GOALS. Hug!!"
After signing with the club, Nunez said he would contact Suarez about playing with the Reds.
Suarez, now a free agent, scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for the Merseyside club.
