LUMADAN: Seventeen Kg Karangan household heads living on land owned by Sawit Kinabalu can breathe a sigh of relief after 40 years, as the land is being gazetted as a village reserve.
Lumadan Assemblyman Datuk Ruslan Muharam announced the good news during the Sawit Kinabalu Lot Handover, presented by Sawit Kinabalu Group Managing Director Datuk Bacho Jansie in Kg Karangan, here.
Representatives of the 17 heads of families involved also witnessed Bacho handing over the 10-acre government-linked company (GLC) land lot to Beaufort District Officer Mohd Nazri Ajun for the gazetting process.
