- London Luton passengers travelling to the airport this August are being offered free bus travel.
- The “Fly and Ride” initiative allows adult passengers to travel free on Arriva and Stagecoach services by presenting a valid printed or digital boarding pass for Luton flights.
- The scheme aims to encourage passengers from across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to leave their cars at home ahead of Luton airport’s predicted busiest summer on record.
- Fully funded by the airport, the initiative complements the Department for Transport's free summer bus travel scheme for children aged 5-15.
- To qualify, passengers must have a return journey booked before 31 August, and the offer does not include National Express or Greenline bus services. The free travel is not available on buses departing Luton airport.
