Luton Town are hoping to secure Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer on a loan deal this summer.
The Premier League minnows need to bolster their frontline if they are to survive this term.
Per Sky Sports, the 21-year-old Archer has emerged as a serious option for Luton.
He was outstanding in the Championship during the second half of last season at Middlesbrough.
His departure from the Riverside club has seen their results fall off considerably at the start of this campaign.
Archer would also get the chance to show that he can handle the Premier League if he moves to Luton.
