Lyon midfielder Romain Faivre has all but signed for Premier League side Bournemouth.
Per Sky Sports, the Cherries are paying 12.8 million to secure the young attacker.
However, they are sending him straight out on loan to Lorient in Ligue 1, where he was on loan for part of last season.
The 24-year-old will be joining the Cherries as a first team player in the summer of 2024.
The club believe that he needs another year to continue his development in a familiar environment.
Faivre netted five goals in 17 games as either a right winger or a central attacking midfielder.
