
Kota Kinabalu: Police have arrested a man and a woman for stealing a motorcycle in Taman Kemajuan, Likas, 11 years ago.
Sabah Criminal Investigation Department Chief SAC Azmi Abd Rahim said a D4 team arrested the 19-year-old male and 46-year-old female suspects in two separate raids on Saturday.
They were wanted in connection with the theft of a Modenas Kris type motorcycle in December 2013.
Azmi said the raid on a squatter settlement in Kampung Likas was successful with the help of Kota Kinabalu Crime Prevention Patrol (RCJ) Unit.

At 7.45pm the same day, the second suspect, a woman, was arrested at the D4 office at the Sabah Police Contingent in Kepayan.
“Investigations revealed that the female suspect had masterminded the theft and acted as a seller of the stolen motorcycle,” he told reporters.
The case is being investigated according to Section 379A of the Penal Code for motorcycle theft.
