Despite the possibility of facing bankruptcy after failing to pay nearly RM1 million loan from Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Malaysian actress Rozita Che Wan is still keeping her silence about the matter.

Just recently, the actress caught the attention of the Internet after she shared a short clip of herself flaunting a huge stack of RM100 and RM50 notes.

“We’re going shopping today, and you all stand the chance to win a lot of money,” Rozita said in the clip shared on TikTok page @mk_mediia.

Eagle-eyed social media users, however, noticed there was something wrong with the bulk of cash that Rozita had in her hand. Many pointed out that she was merely holding fake money.

If you look closely, Rozita was holding a stack of what looks like to be white papers, “laminated” with some banknotes on top.

“Did the money just come out of laundry?”

Social media users couldn’t help but wonder if the bulks of cash that Rozita was holding were fake.

“Are those photocopied bank notes?”

“The RM100 banknote looks weird.”

“Why does the RM100 banknote appear without words and designs?”

MARA recently said that it is set to move forward with bankruptcy proceedings against Malaysian actress Rozita Che Wan and her son, Ammar Effendy, for failing to repay loans worth nearly RM1 million since 2017.
