Three local content creators recently posted a video of them giving leftover chicken bones to a homeless man as a twisted form of an “act of kindness”.

Needless to say, the clip sparked public anger and saw many slamming the trio for their lack of empathy and sick sense of humour.

After eating, they said the bones would go to waste, so they decided to “donate” them to someone in need and packed the leftover bones with some rice inside a wrapper.

The trio then approached a homeless man who was sleeping along a walkway and woke him up to hand him the food.

At first, the man’s face lit up upon receiving the food, but the colour quickly drained from his face when he opened the wrapper and saw the chicken bones inside.

Despite his initial shock, the man thanked the trio for the food.

At the end of the video, one of the influencers gave the leftover meat and skin from the fried chicken to his pet dog.

‘How dare you!’

It didn’t take long for the clip to trigger a wave of outrage from netizens, who were disgusted by the trio’s actions.

‘Please don’t do things like this. It’s really hard to watch and shows a complete lack of respect. I’ve never said this to anyone before, but this behaviour is extremely rude and uneducated.’

‘If you don’t even understand basic respect, fine. But can you at least have some basic human decency? Doing this just for views is really not funny. It’s such a disgrace to Malaysians. I’ve already reported it.’
