The anime Jujutsu Kaisen has not revealed much about Nanami’s fate, but manga readers will be aware that the fan-favorite did not make it after the encounter with Mahito.

In the anime, Nanami mentioned Kuantan, Pahang as his choice for his retirement place before his death. The episode ‘blew up’ the Internet, so much so, that even the Pahang state government is considering building a memorial at Kuantan beach. What if we tell you that the real-life Nanami was recently spotted at Kuantan River?

Was Nanami resurrected and immediately made his way to Kuantan, as he has always wanted? In a viral TikTok post by @uchihzz, a cosplayer who dressed up as Nanami was seen casually strolling around the Kuantan River area during New Year’s Eve, where the public was also seen chilling around the area. It seems like Nanami made his way to Kuantan before the memorial was even built.

“Did Nanami just cheat death, leave his grave and celebrate New Year’s Eve at Kuantan?” the caption of the post stated.
