What would you do if your children had been sneakily going to the kitchen and eating the snacks inside the fridge? Well, for these particular parents, their solution to the problem is both drastic and utterly hilarious.
As shared by TikTok user @aniwanis, she showed how she and her husband dealt with their two children keep on eating the chocolates and snacks that they bought: By installing a padlock on the fridge!
Going viral on the platform, the video has garnered over 301,000 views and more than 8,300 likes as of the time of writing.
In the video, you can see the father installing a hasp and staple on the fridge’s door by drilling screws with power tools.
He then showcased the big padlock locking the fridge before opening the kitchen appliance to show it being filled to the brim with various chocolates and snacks.
He then hilariously taunted his two children with the big padlock and locked the fridge. Holding up the keys, he continued teasing his children who laughed with him.
In the comments section, many Malaysians were amused by the man’s antics and found the solution to be hilariously over the top.
One commenter joked that the parents would be crying alongside the children should they somehow lose the padlock’s keys.
Meanwhile, several commenters said that if the parents didn’t want their kids to eat the snacks and chocolates, just don’t buy them in the first place.
However, @aniwanis said that they bought the snacks but controlled their children’s eating, that’s why they installed the padlock.
