Football is huge, especially in Malaysia. For avid fans, whether they’re supporting the national team or just watching their kids’ friendly match, some might take it a bit too seriously.

In a recent video posted by Ronramka, he took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share a clip of a friendly football match that took place at a local school.

The student received a red card during the match

In the post, Ronramka revealed that during the match, a student was penalised and received a red card for his actions on the field, which caught the attention of the spectators.

The student’s dad, who happened to be one of the spectators, reacted by grabbing an iron rod and allegedly attempting to hit the referee upon discovering his son’s ejection.

The caption of the post reads,

“Your kid got a red card, so you grab an iron bar and try to hit the referee?”

“It’s just so troublesome”

In the video, as the dad made his way onto the field, he was abruptly stopped by a member of the Jabatan Sukarelawan Malaysia (Rela) who then took the metal rod away from him.

Ronramka mentioned in the post, expressing how Malaysian football is suffering because of individuals like this, who enable such poor behaviour in front of their children.

“Malaysian football is suffering because of people like this who enable children to behave poorly. It’s disappointing to see parents act this way. If I were a coach, I would ask the players to leave.”
