A car driver learned a painful lesson after trying to cut into a lorry’s lane while exiting a petrol station — and ended up scratching his own car instead.

Tried to beat the queue, but failed badly

The incident happened at around 3.08pm near a Petronas station at Jalan Kuching.

Dashcam footage showed the car attempting to squeeze past the lorry without leaving enough space, resulting in the car getting scraped along the lorry’s side.

Thankfully, no one was injured, but the car suffered visible damage.

Car driver didn’t demand compensation

After the accident, the car driver reportedly didn’t ask for money and calmly discussed the incident with the lorry driver on the spot.

The lorry driver, later uploaded the video to Facebook, saying:

Good thing I didn’t speed up. Otherwise, the repair cost for this car would have been even worse!”

Netizens roasted the car driver

The video went viral, with netizens slamming the car driver for reckless and impatient driving:

“What’s the rush? Can’t queue properly? Now you pay the price!”

“Cutting queue always comes with consequences!”
