The saying often goes that a mother’s love knows no bounds, but the same thing applies no matter how small or big their child is.

Malaysian businesswoman Zila has been sharing the journey of her nasi lemak business through her TikTok page @byzilaa. However, a recent clip shared by the TikToker has been making waves online after she shared why she still works consistently despite being heavily pregnant.

In the 22-second clip, Zila stated that people often ask her by she continues her small business of selling nasi lemak in Puchong when her due date is just weeks away.

Providing her reasons, Zila went on to say that she’s still hoping to make some money before taking a break once she gives birth. Furthermore, Zila also said that she is careful to rest and sit down where she can, whenever her feet or stomach need the rest.

“I always get so happy when people buy all my food, then I’m able to go home early. When I earn my living it makes me forget about any pain I’ve gone through,” wrote Zila in a caption plastered across the video.

Speaking out of concern for Zila, many Malaysians expressed how she should not be working as much as she does, but instead rest before the baby comes.

“Please rest sister! I worry when I see you in this state,” wrote one user.

Another user also said that she gets emotional watching Zila work as hard as she does just to make a living.

However, another user stated that the work may be good for both mother and baby, saying that come time for her to give birth, she will be at ease.

“When your due date draws closer, it’s actually better to move more. It helps you during the birthing process,” she penned.
