Mistakes can happen, even with routine tasks. Recently, a business owner shared an incident that highlighted the integrity of one of their employees when a salary payment error occurred.
In a viral social media post, the employer explained how one of their staff members noticed an unusually high salary amount and immediately reached out to report it.
A WhatsApp conversation screenshot revealed that the employee received RM9,142.95 instead of their regular RM1,942.95. The staff member wrote:
“This looks wrong. It should be RM1,942.95.”

In the comments section of the post praising the employee’s honesty, netizens shared their admiration and humour while also encouraging the employer to reward the staff for their integrity.
“An honest staff is a blessing. Give them a little something extra, Dr., to make the new year even more beautiful.“



“If it were someone else, they’d probably say, ‘Thanks, Dr., for this 2024 bonus.”
