In a 13-second TikTok video posted by @hazmie.emceesg, it showed a family posing for a photo at a wedding ceremony.
However, the one thing that caught the attention of netizens was that some of the family members were holding up cutouts of their pet cats while posing with the bride and groom.
The unique and heartwarming gesture added a touch of humor and charm to the wedding photos, making it all the more memorable.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Hazmie, who was the emcee at the wedding, said that the wedding hall had a strict no-pets policy.
To circumvent around this rule, the family members decided to make cutouts of their pet cats and bring it along to make it look as though the felines were in attendance too.
I loved how cute the idea was, so I decided to record it and post it. I really did not expect it would go viral,” he added.
