“This is such a good method. If they spend too much time on screens, it could lead to speech delays.”

“I also gave my 72-year-old mum a colouring book to help reduce her screen time. Last month, I even entered her in a colouring competition for senior citizens, and Alhamdulillah, she came in third place.”

“As a doctor with elderly parents who works with geriatric patients every day, I can tell you that they’re like big babies. Don’t scold them, just be patient with them. To help prevent MCI/dementia, let them enjoy activities like they did when they were younger. Give them Sudoku, simple books to read, or even colouring books. This is a really good example. Let them take part in activities they enjoy, with proper supervision.”
