As torrential rain continues to flood Hatyai, leaving elderly residents and children trapped in their homes, Malaysian influencer Hanxiiaoaii has stepped forward to coordinate urgent relief aid for affected communities.
In her latest social media update, Hanxiiaoaii announced that she and her team are preparing to deliver essential supplies to flood victims and called on the public to contribute to the ongoing relief efforts.
Calls for urgent supplies
On Instagram, she listed several items that are currently in critical shortage among affected families, including:
- Bottled water
- Dry food
- Baby diapers
- Infant formula
- Basic medication
She also provided a designated collection point for donors to drop off supplies, assuring that her team will handle the distribution directly to those in need.
No Rescue License, No Entering Flood Zones
While thanking everyone eager to help, Hanxiiaoaii issued a firm reminder that individuals without a rescue license are prohibited from entering disaster zones.
She stressed that the water level in many areas remains unstable and shows no sign of receding.
I don’t want anyone to take unnecessary risks. If we truly need more manpower, I will let everyone know immediately,” she wrote.
Her message highlights an important safety concern, as untrained volunteers could endanger themselves and disrupt ongoing professional rescue operations.
