The recent floods across Malaysia have seen many people coming together to offer help and supplies to those affected.

Just like influencer Khairul Aming, another influencer also stepped up to help flood victims, recently visiting a flood evacuation centre to offer her assistance.

Her good intentions to help ended up backfiring when she showed up at the centre wearing a winter coat with a fur hood.

However, she showed up wearing a winter coat and carrying a luxury-brand handbag, which quickly caught everyone’s attention.

“I wasn’t intentionally trying to look ‘glamorous'”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Puan Juliana explained that her decision to wear the winter coat was because it was raining at the time, and it wasn’t her intention to come across as “glamorous” like how netizens portrayed it.

“It was raining, and my team and I didn’t want to carry an umbrella. So, I just asked my daughter to grab any coat with a hood. As for the backlash from netizens, I accept it all because my team and I had one goal, which is to help the flood victims, and that’s exactly what we did, no matter what anyone else says.”
