In a world where many are preoccupied with their own lives, finding individuals who genuinely care for others and lend a helping hand is a noteworthy occurrence.

Recently, a heartwarming incident captured in a TikTok video has garnered significant attention, where it showed a local man gifting several foreign workers who were toiling under the scorching sun with cash.

M’sian man cheekily gifts money to foreign workers with fist bumps

In the video, the man known as Bromadi is seen approaching the foreign workers near a construction site while slowly driving his car along the road.

When he approached one of them, he stuck out his right hand to give a fist bump to the worker. However, the worker seemed to know what was his real intentions and simply opened his palm wide, leading Bromadi to jokingly ‘surrender’ the cash to him.

Bromadi then went on to try his luck with another foreign worker, where he repeatedly kept asking the latter to fist bump him first before getting the money.

However, like the first one, the worker knew what was up and kept his palm open, eventually leading Bromadi to give him the money before reminding him to drink more water.

Simply wanted to help

Speaking to WeirdKaya, Bromadi said his act of giving money to the foreign workers was purely out of a sense of generosity and compassion for them.

“When I saw them working under the relentless sun, I felt a deep sense of empathy for their situation and wanted to help them out.

“The gesture wasn’t just about handing out money, but also about offering a means for the workers to seek some respite, such as buying drinks to cool down from the heat,” he said.

Bromadi said that while the amount may be small, he hopes it would bring some relief and show the workers that their hard work and challenging conditions were noticed and appreciated by others.
