A 53-year-old man tragically lost his life after an unfortunate accident involving a cow near a farm in Kerling, Hulu Selangor.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday (July 5), saw the man falling off a bridge into a river after the cow kicked his moving motorcycle, according to a statement by Hulu Selangor police chief Supt Ibrahim Husin.
Kicked by a cow mid-ride
Reported by The Star, a CCTV footage revealed that the man, who was riding his motorcycle on the bridge near the farm, was suddenly approached by a cow.
The animal then kicked the bike, causing the rider to lose control and fall into the river below.
Farm workers later found the man severely injured and immediately tried to save him.
They rescued the man and attempted CPR,” said Supt Ibrahim.
Rushed to hospital, but didn’t survive
He was rushed to Hospital Kuala Kubu Bharu, but unfortunately, he passed away before arriving.
An autopsy later confirmed that the cause of death was a severe traumatic brain injury due to a fall from height.
