M’sian man gets busted for submitting fake payslip

In an anonymous tweet shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @meinmokhtar on Sept 8, the man revealed the reason why he was in so much trouble.

I submitted a fake payslip to the bank and got busted as the bank referred to the Human Resources (at my workplace).

“Now the management wants to see me next week. I want to ask what kind of action will be taken against me from the company and bank?” he wrote.

‘Get ready to be fired’

In the comment section, netizens had little advice to offer the man, except wishing him the best of luck and telling him to prepare for the worst outcome.

‘You’re cooked, bro. You’ve falsified a binded law document.’

‘You’ll probably be fired and blacklisted from the Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS). Good luck anon. Don’t fool around with white collar crime as the punishment can be quite heavy.’

‘Of course the bank will call the HR to verify (the payslip). What were you thinking?’
