A simple trip to the mall turned into full blown K-pop chaos for one Malaysian man.
A SNICKERS promotional station featuring Seventeen member MINGYU recently drew a huge crowd at a local mall.
Long lines formed as fans queued to take photos with the life sized standee and some were even spotted buying bulk packs of newly launched SNICKERS Strawberry to celebrate the collaboration.
In the middle of all this, a Malaysian man appeared genuinely confused as he stopped to observe the scene.
He could be heard asking why there were so many people and what exactly was happening.
From confusion to chaos in seconds
Without warning, the man walked straight up to one of the MINGYU standees and snatched it off the floor.
Gasps filled the booth as he turned around and sprinted away with it in his arms.
Fans immediately chased after him, shouting and laughing as they tried to catch up.
And in the middle of his getaway run, he even leaned forward and gave the cardboard MINGYU a quick smooch, sending the crowd into even louder disbelief.
People could only watch in shock and amusement as he dashed away with the standee.
