We all probably know of someone who has a great singing voice but it’s an absolutely surreal moment when we get to see them do it in public.
A young man has gone viral after a clip of him belting out an iconic rock Malay tune with his magnificent voice made rounds on social media.
M’sian man sings heart out at Ipoh mall, attracts crowd
In a 46-second TikTok clip shared by @azrieljaafar, it showed the young man taking the stage with a microphone in his hand at the concourse of a shopping mall.
He then went on to perform ‘Di Penjara Janji’ (In the Prison of Promises) by legendary Malaysian rock singer Awie, where he sang every single note effortlessly.
However, the real treat came when the young man sang the chorus’ falsetto notes, where he was seen absolutely smashing it with his powerful but steady voice.
His amazing performance attracted the curiosity of several shoppers, where some could be seen watching him from the upper floor and others were taking videos of him.
It is believed that the show-stopping performance took place at the Aeon Mall Station 18 in Ipoh.

The clip has since garnered over 440,000 views, where netizens were floored by how the young man managed to pull off the song so flawlessly.
