A man was reported to have stolen a police patrol car near a hospital in Klang, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the incident.

According to Guangming Daily, the incident occurred around 2:40 am last Friday (Feb 21) near Raja Muda Musa Hospital in Klang, Selangor.

The suspect, believed to be a local man, allegedly got into the unattended Honda City patrol vehicle and drove off, forcing the officers on duty to report the theft.

Following the incident, the South Klang District Police Headquarters was alerted by two officers who discovered their patrol car had been taken.

Police have since launched an investigation and are actively tracking down the suspect and the stolen vehicle.
