A baby’s first steps can signify the beginning of a novel chapter in their lives, spelling out an evolved form of independence, autonomy, and adventure. But who said that throughout this learning process, parents themselves can’t find the joy or fun in watching their child grow and develop?

One Malaysian mother named Kitman Cheow has been making waves online after doing just that with her toddler, who is learning how to walk. In a TikTok video posted to her account @kitmancheow, the mother shared how she placed an L licence sign on her toddler’s baby suit while they were out.

Totting around carefully, the child made his way through the mall while holding two balloons, learning to walk by taking one step at a time. Looking at each adult that came his way, the toddler seemed fairly unbothered by the crowd, confidently marching along.

“I’m sorry if I block your way, I still only have my L licence!” jokingly wrote Cheow in the caption of her post in her son’s voice.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Cheow said that she got the idea from her sister, who suggested the cute plan as a joke for her eldest son a few years ago.

“This time, I’m doing the same thing for my youngest champ. Equal and fair for both of them,” light-heartedly added Cheow to WORLD OF BUZZ.
