The moment, captured in a TikTok video by user @prorjani, shows the tortoise slowly making its way across a signalized intersection.
Road users slowed down
Several motorists can be seen slowing down to avoid hitting the animal, with some carefully steering clear of its path.
Amid the cautious drivers, a motorcyclist in a black-and-yellow outfit stood out by stopping his vehicle to lend a helping hand.
He parked his motorcycle by the roadside, carefully picked up the tortoise, and carried it to safety.
