A Malaysian woman took to Facebook to share a distressing incident she faced involving her white Proton Wira after returning from a camping trip.
Noticing that the bonnet of the car was open, the woman, Atiey Rahmat, faced the shock of her life after finding that her car had been broken into.

Going viral online and reposted by many public social media pages, Atiey shared a video of the aftermath of the vehicle break-in, revealing how ALL of the car seats had been ripped out and stolen by the perpetrators.
In the post, Atiey said that she noticed the car had been broken into at around 2.30pm on 14 July when she returned home at Cenderawasih in Kuantan, Pahang.
She asserted,
“Returned from my camping trip yesterday at around 2.30pm to find my car bonnet open. When I checked, I found that all of the seats had been stolen.”
A closer look at the video revealed that the Proton Wira’s audio system and even the centre console housing the gear levers was also stolen, leaving the whole interior of the car bare.
However, the car’s exterior was relatively untouched as the perpetrators most probably entered the car through the bonnet before opening the car doors from the inside.

The police are currently investigating the incident
In a separate Facebook post, Atiey shared an old photo of the car, revealing that it used to belong to someone dear to her who had passed away.
She shared,
“I’m sorry I failed to take care of our memory. Al-Fatihah to Mohd Marwan Musa.”
In the comments section of another post, Atiey revealed that she had already lodged a police report on the theft, though there’s still no update from the authorities as of the time of writing.
We truly hope that the perpetrators are found and brought to justice for the theft!
