A recent video has left many Malaysians amused after a heavily modified and lowered Proton Persona found itself completely stuck on a seemingly ordinary speed bump, leaving accompanying friends of the owner to lend a helping hand.
TikTok user @shokubutsu, the owner of the vehicle, posted a video of the incident, showing the grey sedan’s underbody resting directly on top of a speed bump.

The Persona was simply too low for the bump
In the video, the modified Proton Persona can be seen sporting aftermarket modifications such as bright neon brake callipers and an extremely low stance. Unfortunately, that low ground clearance proved to be its downfall when the car attempted to cross the speed bump. With the vehicle essentially high-centred on the hump, its wheels were unable to get enough traction to move the car forward.
Several friends accompanying the owner in their respective vehicles stopped to help push the car off the speed bump. Eventually, they managed to move the lowered sedan backwards and off the speed bump.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the owner of the Proton Persona explained that the incident took place along Jalan Saujana Puchong.
He also clarified that he was on his way to attend the PROTON vs PERODUA DAY event.
Fortunately, there were no issues with the car after the incident, and Shokubutsu’s Proton Persona even managed to snag two awards at the event.
