The growth of the Internet has led to the rise of one of the most problematic issues that exists, which is the spreading of child pornography.
It was recently reported that a Malaysian man was arrested in Klang after being found in possession of child pornography during a raid at his home in Klang, Selangor.
Recently, it was reported that a schoolchild was tricked by an alleged pedophile into sending naked pictures of herself. The screenshots of their conversation has been circulating on social media.
The adult had pretended to be a doctor and contacted the child via Telegram. They addressed the child by name and stated that they are a female doctor contacting the child to run a medical test.
After the child had agreed, the ‘doctor’ asked the child if they were alone at home and to go into their room and lock the door.
They then informed the child that the test involves her private parts and their breasts and was a checkup for breast cancer.
“The way I conduct the test is through pictures, you can start by taking a selfie of yourself first.”
The truth
Although there were no further screenshots to give context to what had happened after that, a number of other screenshots of a conversation between the parent of the child and the headmaster of the school were also shared.
In the conversation, the headmaster expressed their shock over the news and said that the school has never conducted any sort of medical checkups on the bodies of their students.
“We have never even taken off their hijab.”
The parent then went on to share that their child had already sent pictures of their naked body to the ‘doctor’.
The headmaster informed the parent to lodge a police report immediately in regards to the matter.
The parent also mentioned that a ‘teacher’ had contacted their child on Telegram and asked her to take a video of herself in clothes, without clothes and putting the clothes back on.
Fortunately, the parent had noticed this and gotten their child to stop and call the headmaster to explain.
As of now, there are no updates on the situation. We hope that the authorities get to the bottom of this.
