Taking to TikTok, this netizen shared how her medical bill for consultation and medicine at a local clinic cost her a whopping RM610!
In the video, she writes: “They told me that consultation would only set me back RM35. At the end of the day, they charged me RM610, including medicine.”
“This is what it feels like to be poor.”
“You can ask for the full receipt on what they charged. I once debated the final bill with the clinic,” said a user.
“I once went there to treat my child. I spent RM400 at the clinic.”
One user commented, “There is this one clinic that I want to go to; it was expensive. They gave me tons of medicine. When I went there again, I only took the medicine I needed. The price was more manageable afterwards.”
