A 36-year-old Malaysian woman was violently attacked in a traumatic incident where she claimed her body was stomped on with boots, leaving her bruised.
According to Berita Harian, Noornabilla said she was working as a part-time tour guide in Japan at the time, handling a group of Malaysian tourists in Tokyo under the assignment of a local travel agency.

According to Noornabilla, she was assaulted and threatened with death by a Malaysian male tour operator in an incident witnessed by her husband at a friend’s rented home in Japan on January 24.
“I was beaten, my head was slammed against a bed frame, and I was threatened with death by a Malaysian tour operator. The attack happened in front of my husband at a friend’s rented house in Japan. A police report was filed six months ago, but the man is still walking free,” she claimed.
She further alleged that the suspect was angry over her presence in an area of Tokyo that he claimed to have monopolised.
“I’ve known him for two years and have worked with him a few times as a tour guide. I never imagined he’d turn violent just because he was upset that I had supposedly entered a part of Tokyo he claimed as his own,” she said.

Noornabilla also claimed that her husband and a friend were assaulted by the same man during the incident.
“The man even took 75,000 yen (RM2,300) in cash from us and ordered us to leave Japan and return to Malaysia immediately,” she said.
It is understood that the suspect is a well-known author of travel books about Japan and is active on social media, where he regularly shares travel tips.
Following the incident, Noornabilla lodged reports with both the Japanese police and the Malaysian Embassy in Tokyo. She also filed a report at the Sepang District Police Headquarters and underwent medical check-ups at a clinic and at Cyberjaya Hospital upon her return to Malaysia.
“I returned to Japan in April to follow up on the investigation, and Japanese authorities informed me that the case is still open and requires cooperation from the Malaysian Embassy.”
She added that she has both evidence and witnesses related to the incident and is fully prepared to cooperate with the authorities.
“The incident left me deeply traumatised. I can only sleep with the help of sleeping pills when the fear becomes overwhelming. I sincerely hope the Malaysian authorities will step in, bring this man back, and hold him accountable so that no other woman has to experience what I went through,” she said.
