A Malaysian woman recently shared online that her husband came up with what she describes as either “the most stupid or the most brilliant idea ever” with absolutely no in between.

And honestly, the internet seems to think it’s the latter.

“No water means no ice also”

According to her post, her husband planned to sell pure watermelon juice at a roadside stall in Kuala Lumpur.

No added water. No added sugar. And most importantly, no regular ice.

He pointed out that many bazaar vendors claim their watermelon juice is “original” and not mixed with water.

But then they fill the entire drink container with ice.

“And when the ice melts, that becomes water too right?” he reportedly said.

The solution? Watermelon ice cubes

Instead of using normal ice, he decided to freeze blended watermelon juice into ice cubes.

So when the cubes melt, they do not dilute the drink. They simply turn back into watermelon juice.

The stall even puts the concept front and centre with a bold red banner that reads: “Tembikai Tak Campur Air”, which means watermelon not mixed with water.

The idea quickly gained traction online, with many saying they would buy it immediately.

One commenter said they were tired of buying watermelon juice that ends up tasting like syrup instead of actual fruit.

Another shared that their own brother once sold watermelon juice without mixing water, ice or sugar. According to them, the drink sold out before 6.30pm.

Some even praised the husband for selling the solution after finding the problem”, calling it genius marketing.

One netizen summed it up perfectly: “He found the problem and he sells the solution. That’s genius.”

Others joked that it sounds like sorbet, which is already popular overseas.

Several watermelon lovers also flooded the comments asking for the location.
