We all know what it’s like to have strong cravings for a certain kind of food and the disappointment and frustration that follows when key ingredients are missing from it.
A girl went into an emotional breakdown after she discovered that her long-awaited ayam gepuk order came without the most important ingredient — the sambal kacang.
Ayam gepuk order came sambal-less
In the close to one-and-a-half minute clip on TikTok, the woman is seen wiping away tears from her eyes before telling viewers what caused her to become hysterical.
According to her, she was craving for some ayam gepuk and ordered it through a popular platform. However, her excitement turned into sadness when she saw that there wasn’t a single drop of sambal inside, except for two packets of thick sauce (kicap).
The OP revealed that she had been fasting for the past 26 hours and was hoping to satisfy her ayam gepuk cravings.
Unfortunately, the sight of her sambal-less meal led to her frustration boiling over, which resulted in her crying non-stop.
Received RM3 voucher as compensation
In the clip, the OP said when she reached out to the platform to complaint about her order, all she got was a generic reply and an RM3 voucher, which didn’t sit well with her.
I don’t want your RM3. I JUST WANT MY SAMBAL KACANG! That’s all. It’s not that hard!” she ranted.
Netizens expressed sympathy for her unfortunate situation in the comment section, with some saying that the stall she ordered ayam gepuk from was notorious for failing for provide sambal.
Got a free meal in the end
In a surprising twist to the story, the woman later posted a separate video providing an update about her ayam gepuk order.
According to her, the clip of her crying over the order had caught the platform’s attention, who graciously gifted her a free ayam gepuk meal (thankfully with sambal this time).

After thanking the platform for their prompt response to her complaint, she also hit back at netizens who criticised her for throwing a scene over something seemingly minor.
“Complaining works. Crying works. Call me a crybaby but at least I got what I wanted,” she said triumphantly.
