Planning for a holiday abroad to another country can prove to be both incredibly exciting and daunting. After all, a lot goes into ensuring that everything will go smoothly as intended, whether it be in terms of flights, accommodation, or the number of planned attractions you hope to visit during your vacation. But instead of just one country, a Malaysian woman has impressively managed to plan and go on a trip across a whopping 25 countries in little over a month’s time!

M’sian woman travels to 25 different countries in 33 days

Taking to social media to share her incredible journey, Hirza Hasniza recounted how she and her friend travelled from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai, before making their way to Switzerland where their big European adventure began. Departing on October 7th, 2022, their trip encompassed an exhaustive list of some of the region’s most picturesque cities, including Paris, London, Belgium, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallin, Warsaw, and others.

Naturally, the duo made a point of visiting some of the most sought-after tourist attractions during their time abroad. Among them include landmarks such as the London Eye, the Colosseum, the Louvre, and even a tour of the Golden Circle in Iceland, where they managed to catch the breathtaking aurora borealis phenomenon!

Meticulously planned out across a period of 33 days from start to finish, the intrepid friends even had to occasionally sleep over at airports, on buses, as well as trains, as they embarked upon their whirlwind excursion. In total, Hirza said she spent a little over RM15,000 for her entire trip, which is a rough estimate that includes not only her travel expenses, but as well as accommodations.

She adds that she had been making a point to save up as much money as she could over the years, with the ultimate goal of being able to turn her dreams into reality and fund her European adventure.

However, Hirza notes that her itinerary may not be suitable for those who are looking to travel at a relaxed pace. Image credit: Hirza Hasniza

Speaking to WauPost, Hirza said that planning for the trip took approximately five months, and has advised that due to how grueling her itinerary was, it may not necessarily be suitable for those who are looking to travel at a more leisurely pace.

“This is because we only visited the top 3 tourist destinations in each country, before moving on to the next,” she explained.

But of course, things didn’t always go smoothly throughout their trip with Hirza saying that she and her friend had missed one of their flights, and had one of their AirBnB hosts cancel on them at the very last minute. One of them even had their phone stolen when they were travelling through Italy!

In spite of all that, the duo managed to create memories that would truly last them a lifetime, and now share incredible stories to tell from it.
