Are you one of those people who need to find unique, special and customised ways to wish your family ‘Happy Birthday’ every year? Want to propose to your girlfriend but can’t figure out the most romantic way to do it?
Well, it appears that Malaysians have found a new and definitely different way to wish and send greetings to their loved ones.
The RexGo Africa Wishes Video group took to their TikTok page to help a Malaysian to ask a girl, Fatimah, on a date.
They wrote, “Where is Fatimah? Your boyfriend is calling for you.”
In their video, a group of African men could be seen shirtless and wearing matching white pants. The man standing right in the front held a sign stating, “Fatimah, let’s go hang out. It’s my treat. Nasi Goreng Africa.”
After reading the message out loud, the group blew kisses at the camera and danced to a Malaysian song while holding roses, balloons and other recordings.
That’s also not the only video message done for Malaysians.
It appears that almost all the videos are done for Malaysians. Ranging from ‘Happy Birthday’ and ‘Congratulations on your Marriage’ to proposal messages and advertisements, the question at hand is that is the African group being run by Malaysians?
The answer to that question is a yes. After doing a bit of digging, we discovered that the group is operating for a Melaka-based entertainment company.
The group also showed a short behind the scenes look to prove that they shoot these videos in Africa, for those who don’t believe the videos are taken there.
We just hope that the group isn’t treated like the African children made to do videos mocking themselves so that Chinese nationals can earn big money. They should be treated well, made not to do videos that mock themselves and be paid well.
