In a recent viral TikTok video shared by @dhomecooked2020, a cashier at a restaurant in Taman Melawati can be seen conversing fluently in a different language with customers.

The Malay woman impressively converses in Chinese with customers visiting the shop. She seamlessly translates the orders into Malay when questioned by another staff who was recording the video.

“He ordered the fish and chicken. The customer mentioned how delicious the order was, as he had tried it before. Initially, he wanted nasi lemak, but unfortunately, we don’t have it here.”

In the video, it’s explained that the man she was conversing with in Chinese is originally from China.

“The customer even asked to take away all of the salted eggs they had.”

 

Netizens were impressed by the Malay woman’s proficiency in Chinese, sparking a flood of comments in the section as they shared their thoughts on the remarkable display.
