Edi shared that he was told of the family’s struggles by a friend who met Abdul Razak at a petrol station in the Bentong-Karak area.

He further elaborated that the family has been homeless around Temerloh with the children still being young, with the eldest child no longer going to school due to the family’s financial struggles.

The family has been sleeping in their car over the past 10 months and the father couldn’t find a job despite many attempts.

Due to a family problem, they had to move out of Abdul Razak’s in-laws’ house and the father had to be self-employed by repairing vehicles that breakdown on the highway.

Worse, the father is also suffering from an illness, with a growth on his neck that need to undergo an operation.

In an interview with NST, Abdul Razak was quoted as saying,

“Which father, husband, can bear to see his own family living and sleeping in the car, day in and day out? But with no choice or option left, we had to rough it out like this.”

Edi in an update asserted that the amount of donations received has been more than enough and removed the account number from the post. He then thanked all who donated for their generosity.

Awesome! This just goes to show the solidarity between Malaysians in helping each other out and let’s hope that the family can turn around their plight.
