IN Malaysia, pickpocketing is very common. Now that it occurs so frequently and warning signs are posted all over the place, keeping us aware of our surroundings.
A viral video of a foreign girl who chose to take on her snatch thieves, while the public assisted her in catching and apprehending them was recently shared on the Koleksi Viral Facebook page.
The girl was seen walking on the pavement in the footage while the snatch thieves rode against the flow of traffic near KLCC on Aug 22.
In the video, the motorcycle rider’s passenger attempted to snatch the girl’s bag and was successful as they left the frame swiftly.
They soon return to the frame, allowing the audience to catch a glimpse of the girl struggling to reclaim her bag from the robber while the other rides away.
Additionally, she had given the criminals a run for their money when a car passed by and stopped to help.
Thankfully, to further assist her, another person could also be seen sprinting towards them to help from the opposite direction!
More people showed up at the end to aid, as they ultimately were successful in assisting the girl in getting her luggage back and apprehending the snatchers.
Bravo to the girl for her incredible effort, and what a pleasure it was to see Malaysians unite for a good act.
