While floods continue to wreak havoc in several states across Malaysia, some locals have found a way to inject humour into an otherwise challenging situation.

A pair of Malaysians recently went viral for their creative take on making their own ‘banana boat,’ bringing laughter to social media users.

In a TikTok video shared by @kacahhhhhh_, one person can be seen riding a motorcycle through floodwaters while pulling the lid of a black water tank behind them.

The other person, perched on the lid, rides along as if it’s a banana boat at the beach.

The video, captioned “Here comes the banana boat,” captured the duo’s amusing antics during the flood season.
