
- Drivers have been warned of delays as the M4 remains closed in both directions between J8/9 and J10 following a collision.
- Writing on X, National Highways East told motorists to expect “delays of 20 mins”, alongside “3 miles of congestion on the approach” and a congested diversion.
- It added that Thames Valley Police has advised that “collision investigations are now complete”, with “clean up and recovery works” now able to start.
- Those heading westwards have been “advised to follow the hollow square diversion symbol”, while those heading east are “being diverted via the hollow circle symbol on road signs”.
- National Highways have asked drivers to “allow extra journey time”.
