Former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is battling for his future at Real Madrid.
El Desmarque says Real are targeting Atheltic Bilbao's Unai Simon to replace Courtois in goal.
The Bilbao No 1 has a contract until 2023 and reportedly has a 43million buy-out clause in that deal.
In 10 matches this season Courtois has conceded 12 goals and kept just three clean sheets while Simon has let in four goals and had four shut outs in eight games.
Courtois did keep a clean sheet in Zinedine Zidane's side's Champions League group-stage win over Galatasaray on Tuesday night.
