PENAMPANG: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) President Dr Maximus Ongkili said matters pertaining to the Malaysia Agreement (MA63) must be discussed thoroughly and certainly not within a month as they are not straight forward.

Referring to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s task to Deputy PM Fadillah Yusof to settle unresolved MA63 demands within a month, he said:

“Anwar recently said matters pertaining to MA63 that are agreed to be restored can be implemented without having an agreement from the Cabinet Committee.

“However, the problem is most of the matters pertaining to state rights are not so straightforward.
