PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested another aide to human resources minister V Sivakumar.
MACC chief Azam Baki confirmed to FMT that Sivakumar’s private secretary had been arrested in connection with an investigation into the approval of migrant worker quotas.
“(He has been) remanded, but I’m not sure for how long,” Azam said.
This comes a day after MACC arrested one of Sivakumar’s senior officers.
The officer was detained along with a foreign worker recruitment agent, a source told FMT.
