The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has seized luxury assets and items worth RM32 million, believed to belong to a highway concessionaire bearing the title “Tan Sri.”
The seizure followed an investigation into the alleged misappropriation of sukuk funds that were meant for the construction of a highway in the Klang Valley, as reported by Sinar Harian.

217 luxury watches worth RM5 mil were confiscated
The seizure included luxury items such as handbags, jewellery, high-end vehicles, watches, cash, and a luxury residence.
During the raid, the MACC confiscated 217 luxury watches from various brands valued at RM5 million, 27 designer handbags worth over RM1 million, and jewellery estimated at over RM4 million.
They also seized nine luxury vehicles, including Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Range Rover models, with a total value of nearly RM7 million.
Storage space discovered stocked with alcoholic beverages
Additionally, authorities discovered a storage space at one of the residences stocked with premium alcoholic beverages, believed to be linked to money laundering activities and estimated to be worth around RM3 million.
The MACC also seized a luxury residential unit in the capital, estimated to be worth around RM12 million, and believed to be owned by the individual in question.
All seized items and assets are now part of an ongoing investigation under the MACC Act 2009 and the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act (AMLA) 2001.
