The meeting aims to reaffirm European solidarity and France’s support for Danish and Greenlandic sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It follows recent threats by US President Donald Trump to seize the mineral-rich Arctic island, an autonomous Danish territory.
Macron’s office stated the leaders will discuss Arctic security issues and Greenland’s economic and social development.
France and the European Union have expressed readiness to support Greenland’s development.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Greenland leader Jens-Frederik Nielsen are touring European capitals this week.
Their itinerary included talks in Hamburg and Berlin prior to the Paris meeting.
The discussions come amid heightened regional tensions due to Russian threats and US ambitions in the Arctic.
Trump recently backed down from his threat to seize Greenland after meeting NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.
The two leaders agreed on an undisclosed “framework” regarding the situation.
In a show of support, France plans to open a consulate in Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, next month.
